This massage is an extension of the massage above. It uses techniques used in Swedish massage, which can be tailored to your needs. Extending the treatment to massage the head and face provides total relaxation, leaving you feeling calm, soothed and relaxed. A wonderful treatment.

Restoration and Repair 20 mins £25, 30 mins £30

Anyone can benefit from this treatment however it is particularly suitable for anyone suffering a chronic illness, including cancer and end of life. Our body has a natural ability to restore and repair itself. This treatment encourages the body to trigger the parasympathetic system and enables your body to naturally relax. The treatment works with the power of touch, stillness and rhythmic and soothing strokes. It is a powerfully relaxing treatment. Anyone suffering from a chronic illness will be unable to tolerate a treatment which is longer than 20-30 mins. This is because of your body's response to treatment.

Aromatherapy massage

This is naturally a soothing massage. Uses lots of slow movements easing out tension and soothing aches and pains. Aromatherapy uses essential oils used with a carrier oil to assist the client with any element that requires attention. This could be on a physical. emotional or spiritual level. A consultation will enable the therapist to select oils to be used on an individual basis, according to your needs on that day. This is truly a wonderful treatment which is tailored to your specific needs

Eastern Bamboo Massage

Choose from 40 mins £35, 60 mins £45

Bamboo massage is relatively new. It uses natural bamboo canes to knead and roll out knots in muscles. It is excellent for deep tissue work. This massage allows for a deeper application of pressure, it encourages blood flow, assists to relieve tension in tired, aching muscles and is wonderfully relaxing. The bamboo can also be heated, so nerve endings are soothed, creating a sense of calm and peace.

Using techniques from Swedish Massage and Advanced massage (deep tissue massage) choose an invigorating treatment or relaxing treatment depending upon your needs. Massage can be performed on pregnant women from the second trimester of pregnancy. Positioning of the client takes into consideration the clients comfort.

A relaxing and therapeutic treatment. This treatment massages the feet. Techniques used, open blockages of energy throughout the body, which lead to balance and equilibrium. This treatment promotes total relaxation. It is beneficial to both mind and body.

Indian Head massage £35.00 (45 mins)

This massage uses a mix of techniques from traditional and Indian massage and acupressure massage. It promotes deep relaxation. This treatment can be used to ease sinus pain, headache, improves joint mobility, reduces stress and anxiety, alleviates mood and helps to reduce blood pressure.

Hot Stone Massage £55 (90 mins)

A holistic and therapeutic treatment. This treatment originates from Native American cultures, who heated stones by fire to use to ease aching muscles. I use basalt stones heated by water. You will receive 1 and a half hours of 'hands on' massage. The warmth from the stones and techniques from massage will help to promote deep muscle and tissue relaxation. It helps to alleviate stress, aches and pains, releases toxins and improves circulation. This treatment is beneficial to everyone but can effectively help if you suffer with the following; muscular aches and pains, back pain, MS, arthritis, fibromyalagia, circulatory problems, anxiety.

Truly a 'winter warmer'. A wonderfully deep, relaxing treatment. Using aromatic Thai herbs in a compress, this treatment is excellent in aiding relaxation, soothing tired and sore muscles, improving blood circulation and delivers deep medicinal heat to relax muscles. It can also help to mobilise joints and can reduce swelling caused by inflammation of muscles, ligaments and joints. The use of Thai herbs can also help to relieve stress and increase energy flow. Thai Foot Massage £35.00 (45 mins)

A wonderful treatment of feet and lower legs. This is a combination of acupressure, energy balancing and stretching exercises. This treatment also incorporates elements of Reflexology. The treatment is used to stimulate and balance the body's systems. You can expect the treatment to begin with a foot soak to help you relax and unwind. I will also use a foot scrub, to exfoliate, soften and smooth. You will then receive a massage to the feet and lower legs. I will finish with a foot balm to nourish and nurture.

Lymphatic Drainage Treatment

A wonderfully relaxing treatment. This treatment consists of light skin manipulation and stroking movements which triggers the lymphatic system to contract more frequently. I will also use rhythmic pumping techniques to move the skin in the direction of lymph flow. This stimulates the lymphatic vessels, which carry substances vital to the defense of the body and removes waste products. MLD is often described as a 'spring clean of the body'. Guided meditation is something that a complete beginner to an advanced user can tap into. I will conduct a consultation discussing the focus of the meditation, any techniques which may be beneficial to you and devise a practice to suit you and which you can use at any time. You will be able to take part in a one to one session where I guide you through, then you will have the chance to purchase the meditation for your continued use.
